Cleaning thermoplastic machinery

of active and mechanical cleaning products for the plastics industry.

Mechanical products, like Zitobrite, don’t require any changes in the temperature or speed of the
screw, they can be put in the hopper immediately and will remove any contamination, carbonised
material or colored material from the screw and cylinder.

Active products, like Supernova, require a reduction of the screw speed till almost 0%, because the
product has to develop pressure in the cylinder to scrub the wall of the cylinder and the surface of
the screw to remove colored material, carbonised material and other plastics which will contaminate
the plastics materials.
